@Mark39 yes it is and was connected on 18th and have not been able to make calls since the broadband was connected

Do you have a black Hub or the white one? If it's the black one, if the Voice LED on the front panel illuminated? Amber or green? Are you in the UK or the ROI?

There's a known delayed activation issue with the landline service affecting some customers who have the Max Hub. You could try resetting it by pressing the WPS button for 30 seconds.
