Hello,
Recently switched from BT FTTC with digital voice to Sky FTTP with Sky Talk.
Obviously the old BT handset won't work, however the phone needs to go in the hallway, and the Sky Hub is long way away in a bedroom upstairs.
I understand there are plenty of twin-pack DECT phones out there, however there isn't really space upstairs to connect a handset directly to the hub. Is there a compatible DECT phone out there which will connect to the hub over WiFi?
Thank you.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt's the DECT base station which plugs into the Hub. The handsets are free standing and connect to the base station wirelessly.
Edited to add: it's not possible to connect wirelessly direct to the Hub. The only connection to Sky Internet calls is via the phone socket at the back of the Hub.

Short answer is no, only BT have their own propriety service, other ISP's don't make or market telephones unlike BT. Sky don't have a Phone over wifi service as per @Mark39 phones need to be plugged into the phone port of the hub.

Not a particular recommendation, but you could look at the Gigaset E630 which is relatively rare in having a flat base station that connects by cable to the ISP router, and has its phone handset(s) elsewhere.
As @GD1 and @Mark39 indicate, you won't find any wireless handset which can talk directly to a Sky Hub: only the proprietary BT system does so with their own Smart Hub router hardware because only BT has a century of heritage in building telephones.
