I have recently left sky and want to keep my landline number. My new provider are asking for a PO number and sky says this doesn't exist. Any one help

I've never heard of a PO number, unless they're referring to a (General) Post Office number who were the forerunner of BT and Openreach. In any event I would take that to mean your landline number.

I don't know what other information your new provider would need (unless perhaps you're in the ROI?).

As I understand it, in the ROI, you have to provide your landline number and UAN (which I think for Sky, is your Sky account number, but do check with them). I can't find any reference to a PO in COMREG requirements.

Re: Where would I get my PO number

  • Hi Mark

Thanks for that I provided my uan number but they are asking for a PO number I know before sky told me there wasn't one. Just wanted to keep my old number but its not looking like it. Thanks for your reply

@Cooper+62

ComReg advise that they have a 'Consumer Care Team' for such situations.
