VoIp switch over

Regarding VoIP switch over. Rural location with copper line from 'green exchange box' approximately a mile away over/under farmland. What will happen when copper line shut down?

@dazarem  Copper Lines are not being "Shutdown" it is the way the telephone calls are delievered thats changing moving from the older analalogue to digital delivery, if you have Sky broadband calls will be routed through the Sky Broadband Hub where you simply plug your main phone into the back up the hubs UK phone port.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

The Universal Service Obligation dictates that a metallic circuit cannot be ceased until the property has a viable alternative.
