Unable to phone landline from SMARTY mobile

At the start of this month, I changed my mobile provider from O2 to SMARTY, and have since been unable to connect with my home Sky landline, instead hearing the message: "The number you have dialled cannot accept this call. Please hang up and try again later". Calls in the other direction work fine.

We have checked with a neighbour who also has a SMARTY SIM, and they receive the same message when phoning our landline, so the problem is not with my mobile phone or its number.

Is this an issue others have had or is there a specific fault on my Sky landline (which is able to receive mobile calls from other mobile networks including O2 and Sky)?

I think to start with it is worth calling Sky so it can be investigated from their end. 150 from your landline phone number is the free number to use.

Thanks - I tried that but they couldn't find anything wrong, and suggested I contact SMARTY - but I'll try them again.

Re: Unable to phone landline from SMARTY mobile

So I spoke to Sky - apparently there's nothing wrong with my landline (VoIP via modem) and I should speak to SMARTY. Who don't think there's anything wrong with their SIM / mobile service, as I am able to make calls to other "020" landlines. Don't really know where to go from here! - would be nice to get SMARTY and Sky to sort it out between them, but I don't know how to make that happen. Any ideas?
