Trting to access my National Savings account. I have to enter an on screen 6 digit into my landline phone, when NSI send automated call. Answer phone, call starts with"press hash key if expecting this call." Press hash key, but not recognised and "press hash key if expecting this call," repeats. Tried pressing hash key briefly and holding down. Still doesn't work.Have tried 3 different handsets, from base unit.
Anybody any ideas?

Find out more@Gillseville I think this is something you need to take up with NSI but some of these automated call, systems are designed to work on mobile networks. As far as we know Sky's digital phone system works like a normal analogue line supporting the standard key tones.

Find out more@Gillseville coincidentally after posting the above reply I read in today.'s Sunsay Times Money section an article by Hubter Davis wjo had exactly the same issue with NS&I and the inabikity yongetvthe hash key to work. Sounds like Equifax who are running tge service have a problem not your phone!
