I have cancelled my talk and wish to transfer my telephone number to a new full fibre supplier and will use a fibre connected phone.
to tranfer the number the new supplier requires to know my current provider who the suggest may not be SKY but BT. Can you confirm if it is this correct and where do I get details of this

If your notice period has expired and your Sky phone service has ended, my understanding is that your number will already have been returned to the pool of unused numbers, and won’t be retrievable.
All that said, even if your Sky service is still active, I'm not sure that it will be possible to port your number to a full VOIP service provider.
