The RJ11 telephone port on the back of the SR203 Hub
Hello I just switched to Sky Broadband superfast (fttc) . The router Sky supplies (SR203) has two telephone ports on the back. A standard old BT plug (6312 431A ) and an RJ11 for Italy/ROI. I'm in the UK but only have an RJ11 lead from my telephone port so stuck it in the ITaly/ROI port. The phone appears to be working - can make and recieve calls. Is it safe for me to continue to use the Italy/ROI port in the UK. Does it do the same thing as the BT Port and it's just for what cable plug you have available?

@John78543 if it works ok, I doubt it will cause a problem. But you should be able simply to transfer the phone plug from your wall socket to the UK socket at the back of the Hub. They're both standard BT sockets.
