Telephone

I have a phone line but my phones do not work and they say check connection?? These should have been switched over on 9th October

No broadband

We have moved to a new property and broadband should have gone live 9th oct but this is not the case, why???

I assume,you mean switched to Sky. If your broadband Hub has a 'Voice' light which is lit, your phone needs to be plugged intothe socket at the back of the Hub. The normal wall sockets won't work.

You aren’t addressing Sky Customer Services here. This is primarily a customer helps customer forum and there will be no automatic contact from Sky. Do you mean you've recently switched Broadband and landline phone provider to Sky? Does it say who is your provider when you dial 17070 (if it works)?
