Telephone wires fire hazard

I had a Sky engineer come round and fit a new router and look at telephone wires, he said they were a fire hazard and would contact BT to get them fixed quick.

Since then I have heard nothing from Sky nor BT and struggling to get someone to answer me from Sky to sort this out, can any one help please 🙏

Where are these wires are they outside of your property if do give Sky a call on the free 150 number because if needs be they can arrange an Ipenreach engineer to attend and look at them.

Re: Telephone wires fire hazard

Yes they are outside and inside, I will try to call 150 but no idea which buttons to press after that.

It used to be so easy to contact someone at Sky and that's why I've stayed with them for over 20 years, but find it so difficult now, wish I could just email them 😩

Re: Telephone wires fire hazard

Well I called 150 and got sent a text to troubleshoot which is not what I want, how do you get to speak to a human? 🤷‍♀️

@QueenieLadyWhen the text is sent are you asked if you wish to hang up or does the line just go dead?

If someone has helped give them Like.

If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

Hi @QueenieLady

As far as I am aware  if you stay on the line after the text is sent, you should be directed to an advisor (cannot advise on how long the queues are) and should be able to help you.

Thanks
