Sky talk not working

Had fibre installed yesterday.  Landline not working.  Phone plugged into router but all I'm getting is a high pitched squeal.  When I phone the number it says it's not recognised.  Over 24 hours since installation.  Help

Do you have a white Max Hub, or a black one? If the latter, is the Voice LED on the front panel lit? Amber or green?

It may be just a slightly delayed phone activation,  but try restarting your Hub today by switching off at the plug for a few minutes.

 

If you still have no landline service, it may be as well to check with Sky. We can ask their messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat, if you wish.

Thanks Mark.  Logged it on one of their forms and they told me they already knew about the problem, so hoping it gets resolved.  So appreciate your help.
