Since I had my broadband upgraded I have had no landline to make calls or receive calls?

can anyone help as have just been in hold 57 minutes in my mobile and it cut off and I am losing the will

If your broadband Hub has a Voice light which is lit, your phone must be plugged into the socket at the back of the Hub. It won't work from the wall socket.
