Call 150 from your landline.
If you moved from 'Now' then I believe technical problems prevent the number from being ported. Other providers only keep your number for a maximum of 31 days.

@sammus61 in some cases there are technical issues which prevent your phone number being kept when you switch to Sky. If you want to retrieve your old number, give Sky a call on 150 as @Daniel0210 posted and tell them what has happened.
If it's an oversight on Sky's side, they may able to retrieve your old number from your previous provider providing it's done within 31 days of your switch. It will involve cancelling your existing broadband/landline service with Sky, and re-provisioning your telephone line hopefully bringing with it your old number. As a consequence there will be a period where you're without any service.
