No dial tone with Sky Talk for over a week. Tested with a different phone - same result. Need to talk to Sky but wait times on help line (via mobile) not practical. Any tips??

Ignore the fact it says it will test your broadband.

It's the landline not broadband. Still waiting for Openreach to fix. Can't contact Openreach directly. Have been without a landline for 6 weeks now!

That's correct. You can only report it to Sky (which you've obviously done) and get updates from Sky not Openreach.
The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation
If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your account.
