Hi,

Ok, so i've just upgraded to ultrafast 1 and i get free internet calls, so why am i paying for sky talk evening and weekend call package?

Surely if internet calls are free i shouldn't need a call package?

Can someone tell me if this is correct, I'm a bit confused.

Internet calls aren't free, I'm afraid. They're charged in exactly the same way as standard calls are charged, hence the availability of the same call packages.

Ah ok, as my bill says internet calls are free i assumed i didn't need a call package.

Yes, there have been previous posts on the subject. I agree it's confusing.

Very confusing, and something I'd hope Ofcom would be interested in.  It's the inbound/outbound voice (VOIP) 'service' which is made available 'free' (like WiFi), but calls made from the address are charged for.
