We are no longer in a contract period. We have only 3 family members who talk to us over landline, but we have a sky mobile each. The Talk system is becoming unused - can we cancel it but keep b/band? Otherwise we might have to cancel Talk & Bband and go to another provider ( we have fibre in the street now and will be offered a deal very soon). The bill is £52 for Talk + Bband.
We used to have BT broadband.

As I posted before, switch to Sky Pay as you Talk. and if you make no calls, there's no charge and no monthly subscription.

How much would I save with no calls - just the Bband?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThat will depend on what tariff you're currently on and what non-inclusive calls you make. Tariff prices are increasing in May so Sky Talk Evening and Weekends Extra will be £8pm, Sky Talk Anytime Extra will be £16pm and Sky Talk International Extra will be £18pm.

There would be no saving if you are already on the default Sky Talk Pay as You Talk tariff.
Note that online advice to 'cancel an unused landline to save money' is generally incorrect: the 'line rental' element bundled into the monthly subscription covers the cost of the data bearer circuit required to receive broadband, and cannot be cancelled without cutting off the internet connection entirely.

We have Anytime Extra, so no call charges.

No call charges but you're currently paying £13.50 per month for the benefit, and that's rising to £16.00 per month in May.
