So. I have Sky Shield on my house phone. Recently people are ringing on our home landline having problems with Sky Shield. For example I have missed important phone calls as the caller has told me that the phone was ringing out then just stops WHEN THE PHONE HAS NOT RUNG HERE IN OUR HOME! What's going on? Anybody else having this problem. For me it's important that this whole Sky Shield works PROPERLY. Thanks. Looking forward to responses.

@Mark39 Thanks for your reply. I have answered but don't know if you have received it therefore I shall repeat my reply here. I do have a dialing tone. I do use our landline. I do receive phone calls. Earlier I made a call - an important one - and was anxious for a response. The person who I had spoken to had tried to call me back with the response but said our phoneline was just ringing and ringing then cut off. We have been here all day as I am Primary Carer for my elderly husband. Only by calling said person again from my landline to her landline asking if she had the response I needed, did I learn that yet again there had been a problem with this Sky Shield. Last week, the very same thing. I was expecting an urgent call from the Pharmacy. Never received it. Only by ringing again was I informed that they had attempted to ring me but the phone just rang and rang and then cut off. We were here at home!
Any ideas.
Thanks and kind regards.

It sounds like you have an intermittent fault or possibly a networking issue which may make it hard to track down. It's probably best to report it to Sky. You can call them free on 150 if you wish, or alternatively we can ask their messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private, online chat. They'll be able to run some line tests to check for a fault. If you would prefer the online chat option, let us know.

@Mark39 Thanks a bunch! It's difficult for me to be online lots as I am Primary Carer for my husband, so I shall most certainly ring 150 as soon as I possible can and hopefully find somebody as helpful as yourself . Much appreciated.

The chat remains open for 48 hours, so you can send a message, then come back later when it's convenient to check for a response from Sky and so on.
