I am on Sky ultrafast broadband with an analogue Panasonic answer machine....currently disconnected ...as I need to replace the cable between the phone and the router with a 4M one as router and phone now apartin the room

Can someone advise the type of cable I should get as I'm confused with the variety of nunber of pins the cables on offer seem to have ... 2 pins or 4 pins ?

Should it have a RJ11 plug at phone end and a BT type at router ?

I have lost the Router instructions 😢
