Openreach has not turned up today 1-6pm for a crossed line fault on Sky Talk. Last week we had no dial at all, then when it did come back we now have an entirely different number. And some poor lady we do not know is now receiving all our calls. This account is for my elderly parents so having a their correct number (30 years same number) is of cruical importance for medical contacts. Could someone please let us know is an engineer still attending and when might that be?

This is primarily a customer helps customer forum so you aren’t addressing Sky Customer Services and there’ll be no automatic contact from Sky as a result of you posting on here.
If you call Sky (and you can answer the security questions your parents have set up) they may be able to give you an update tomorrow (if Openreach have provided Sky with an update that is).

Thanks for the info. I posted my message and this reply whilst I'm waiting to get through to Sky Customer Services. Apparently today is training day ay Sky so calls will take 30 mins+ to get through....
I'm the one stupidly that referred my parents to Sky so I have all the account details...
