Problems with Sky talk

Just can't get the landline phone to make and receive calls since switching from EE to Sky. Wish we hadn't switched, a lot of hassle. Broadband seems to be fine.

Is your phone plugged into your broadband Hub?

When did the switch complete? Is your handset a standard analogue device (not sure if EE have a digital voice service equivalent to BT's)? Do you jave a black broadband Hub? Or white?

Broadband and phone switched last Monday 11th August. We have a white hub

And your phone? And lastly do you have a full fibre service, with a separate ONT?

Yes the handset is a standard one...cordless...also tried another phone which wasn't cordless

@Derec thanks for all the answers. You could try turning off both the ONT and your Max Hub for an hour,  when it's convenient (overnight?) to see if that coaxes the phone service into life. If not, it's probably best to report it to Sky.

Thanks will try switch off. Trouble is getting to speak with anyone in Sky, been trying this morning but going round in circles & getting nowhere

@Derec sorry it hasn't helped.

 

If you have the means, give Sky a call to report it - try not engaging with the bot. Stay silent and you should eventually be asked,if you want to speak to an adviser.
