Problem with loud crackling on our land line

For the last week we have had a problem with loud crackling on the land line. Any advice on who to contact to sort it.

You would need to report this to Sky so 150 is the number to call them on and when you do stay silent when asked any questions by the bot.

Are you still able to make and receive calls sufficiently well to call Sky? Just dial 150 from the landline. Sky can check the line and if necessary pass a fault to Openreach to investigate.

Wife phoned the 150 and line is that bad she can't hear what the woman says.

In that case I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you tomorrow. 

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

 sky staff have sorted my problem out. A engineer was sent here and the problem was with line at the exchange. It now works  fine
