I am currently with Virgin and am moving to a non cabled area, so trying to sign up with sky for Braodband
I need to take my current telephone number with me, i have tried 4 times to order this and every time the order gets cancelled
i am being told that Sky do not have access rights to my exsisting phone number, They can take over the number if take out a contract with sky and stay in the same house, but cannot move the number to my new house,
Houses are in the same dialling code area, is this correct seems bonkers to me
are there any ways round this, my only option it seemd is to take out a contract with BT as they can move numbers

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIn all honesty, I think if your order has been cancelled 4 times, and your being told the same thing every time, that I would take the hint, particularly if it's important to retain your number.
