I move to a new flat and Sky on 10th and have been given a new landline number .
I leave my old flat and fibre broadband on 17th, how can I port my existing landline number?
Do I contact Sky or existing provider - Hyperoptic?

Hi
I indicated that I would like to port my number and my confirmation from Sky just allocated a new number without any mention that I could see about porting my old number - hence my panic..

"If we can’t transfer your number or you want a new one, you’ll get an email or letter with your new number"
Did you have a digital phone connection with Hyperoptic - one where the phone was provided via the fibre, optic broadband service? If so, that may be the reason why Sky can’t port your phone number.

Yes, @Mark39 It was originally an old fashioned BT landline that I ported when I switched to fibre.
Do you think that makes it impossible?
BTW I have emailed Hyperpptic as well and am waiting for reply
