Phone rings but no connection when I pick it up

Broadband working ok. For over a week phone rings but there is no connection when I pick up the receiver, sometimes it continues ringing even when I pick it up.

Is your phone plugged into a wall socket? Does the socket have separate ports for telephone and broadband?

My phone is plugged into the black sky hub. The socket in which the hub is connected to has separate ports for telephone and broadband. It's been working fine for about 3 months.

@donut1 try restarting your broadband Hub, by turning it off at the plug for 10 minutes. If that doesn't resolve it, it's best to report it to Sky.
