Phone position

Im switching from BT to sky. My landline phone is plugged into a socket not in the hubusing an adaptor supplied by BT. Do sky offer this i don't want it right next to computer?

Of all the ISPs only BT/EE has that kind of hardware, because it's only they who have a century of history making telephone equipment.

@Felphamgirl  no, Sky don't provide an adaptor, I'm afraid. If your phone is designed specifically for BT's Digital Voice service it won't work with Sky (or any other provider).

 

You might want to consider a standard cordless DECT phone, where just the base station needs to be plugged into the Hub. You can place the handset(s) wherever you wish.
