Phone not working

We switched to sky on 29th August and I plugged the phone into the back of the router and the phone doesn't work i.e. no ring tone,  can't call out or receive calls. The display on the phone says "please check line cord". The phone works if I plug it directly into the phone socket on the wall,  but not when it is connected to the sky max  hub. I have done the "unplug and turn modem off for an hour which makes no difference".

@Pappy69 is your phone fully functional when it's plugged into the wall socket? Do you have full fibre with Sky with an ONT installed?

Yes the phone is fully functional when plugged into phone socket. Yes, I have full fibre and ONT box

@Pappy69 it sounds as though Openreach haven't completed the switch yet. It,doesn't usually take,this long though.

 

You could try turning off your ONT and your Max Hub for at least an hour to,see if that prompts the,change. If not, you may need to contact Sky .
