Phone not working

Line cord error 

 

was told that by might be doing somthing but on a Sunday this late at night I done think so plus when you try and ring the phone line it says user busy but how can that be when I cont even use it

Will wait for sky to get back to me as they did a line test and it came back that everything is fine but it ain't

See if you can run this line test to see if a fault is found outside of your property and if something is found you can book an engineer repair, ignore the fact it says it will test your broadband:

You can also run this test via the MySky app.

I have moved your post from the Sky Q board as your issue has nothing to do with TV services. 

Sky won't get back to you unless you have already reported this fault to them. Have you reported it? If not have you the means to report it?

If they found an external fault they will have notified Openreach who will investigate and fix it.

Okay. If it remains off for a while this link outlines auto compensation for when there is a total loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full working days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it, It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your account.

Wish is was that easy it's lucky I have a mobile phone on o2 at least they don't  **bleep** up all the time
