Phone not working

My home has three landline phone sets (as well as Sky TV and Broadband) ; the two downstairs are working OK but the one upstairs suddenly stopped giving a dialling tone and remains "dead". It is a BT Duet 210 corded phone.

After speaking with grenville1958 we checked the account and found this has already been raised to Openreach for an external fault.

Advised of Openreach's SLA of 3-5 working days to resolve the fault.

Can you try one of the other phones there because as the other two work then the fault would be inside your home, perhaps with the phone itself.

PLEASE  WE HAVE NO PHONE LINE HELP US      WE ARE BOTH DISABLED  WE HAVE NO LINE IN OR OUT   MY HUSBAND HAS C O P D  AND  HE COULD NEED HELP ANY TIME   PLEASE PLEASE HELP US   MY HUSBAND IS ALSO  BLIND I CANT WALK AND THE PHONE HAS BEEN OFF A DAY OR TWO BUT IVE ONLY  JUST    FOUND OUT

To get you some help with this I have alerted your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.
