Hi,
I've bought a new cordless phone after mine broke ages ago. All plugged in but no dialling tone. Can't make or receive calls.
We have a standard socket and use a filter. We plugged the phone directly into the socket and we can now receive calls but not make them. So there is obviously a problem with the filter, but is there also a problem with the line?
