Since swapping my landline to sky I now regularly get number not recognised when calling mobile numbers from my landline . I have called and was told the numbers I am calling must have our number blocked - obviously this is not the case. Sometimes I can call the mobile numbers and then the next time it comes up with number not recognised. No problem if I call the same number from my mobile (problem is I can't call from my mobile as signal is not always great). I work from home and have to call clients on a regular basis so this is becoming more and more frustrating . I have just tried to call my sister , number worked fine yesterday and yet now I get number not recognised. It does only happen when calling mobile numbers , land lines work fine .
There was never an issue before I swapped over to sky.
can anyone help me with this as I have tried to report it and just get told I need to provide the number I'm having problems with , as the helpline staff are adamant that it is a problem with the individual number at their end ? Which it obviously is not as some times I can call them .

Our landline is via a Sky Broadband Hub. Sometimes when we call a mobile number in the UK that we call every day we get the message "The number you have called has not been recognised". If we keep on trying this number ( two or three times) it suddenly works. Very iritating! What is the solution?

It is madness , I have tried to speak to sky on a number of occasions but no one seems to want to help . I can call a mobile number one day and have no problems , then the next day it doesn't work .
never had an issue before changing to sky for our calls
