I've had Sky talk for many years along with sky broadband however following lots of issues with losing my broadband I was advised by a Sky engineer to hardwire the Router to the Sky Q hub however this meant I only had one outlet port left on the router. Therefore I agreed to have a Sky booster router that had 4 outlet ports, after multiple calls this is now in place however within two days I'm receiving nuisance calls and it seems I can't have Sky Talk Shield with the router I have considering we have no mobile signal indoors I require a landline .......I guess the only thing left to do is cancel the whole Sky package and get a BT landline that will allow me to block the nuisance calls ! Any ideas folks ?

That's not the case. Sky Talk Shield works with any Sky router. It's not a router-based service.

Purchasing a simple unmanaged five or eight port ethernet switch for c£20 is the easy way to allow multiple ethernet devices to be connected to a Q Hub: there's no need to pay extra each month for Broadband Boost and so get a Sky Broadband Hub (although Sky would undoubtedly prefer people to do so).
