No landline connection since Sky installation engineer made no attempt check landline b4 left

after ages on phone told to connect line to router !  Why didn't installation engineer sort it?

Phone is wired in the other side of the house !!  How am I supposed to plug it into router ? 😠

Probably simplest to buy a wireless DECT phone which has a base station to plug into the Hub while the handset(s) connect wirelessly to it.

Broadband installation does not include connection of the new digital voice service from the router back to the original master socket or internal extension wiring: that's simply not an option any ISP offers, even though it's technically possible through a technique called 'Voice Re-injection'.
