New Sky customer - Landline number not recognised

Hi, I am a new customer to Sky. I have the Broadband+Pay as you talk (home phone)+Sky TV package. My old landline number was transfered over to Sky and all conected up to the router, as told to do so. I am able to make outgoing calls on this line, but I have just discovered that I am not recieving any incoming calls and that callers are getting the mesage"The number you have called is not recognised". Any ideas why this is happening and what can be done to fix this please?

I don't know what is going on. I've had the same issue for 10 days now, and I'm a long term customer! They said a week ago and engineer was sorting it!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@LeppyWoo when was your Sky service activated? Dial 17070 from your landline, and the recorded message will give you the number assigned to your line - is it what you're expecting?

Hi

Thanks for your reply. I've been with Sky for 9 years, first time I've had this problem. I can't dial anything on my landline, totally useless!
