NO INCOMING CALLS

Reported no incoming calls several times since moving from Talk Talk and not getting anywhere We've missed important hospital calls because no-one can get through to us. No mobile signal here so landline phone is essential. Now regretting switching. Rang Sky twice yesterday but got cut off twice during conversations. Just don't know what to do. I've got a 90 year old, disabled lady here and need incoming phone calls.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

I've spoken to the Sky technical team this morning who have basically told me that it is up to me to prove that I'm not getting any incoming calls. I'm furious.

Unfortunately, I've still no incoming calls (unless they're also a Sky customer) and am getting absolutely no help from anywhere. I have now submitted a formal complaint.

I can't get any help whatsoever - it's been a month now. They've got my money and don't seem to care.

So you said,, but you haven't told us what the online chat adviser said? What action were they going to take?

Just that they would escalate it but nothing beyond that. I've just had a text message thanking me for my patience.

Reassuring that it's still under investigation. Frustrating, I know, but it sounds like there's nothing more that Sky can do for the moment. When similar delays have been reported here before, there's an element of Openreach involvement required to sort it out, which can take a while.

I have good news - 5 mins after submitting a complaint and giving Sky an ultimatum, apparently it's now all sorted😁

If I were being cynical, I'd say it had already been fixed, and your complaint simply prompted Sky to let you know! Either way - good news, indeed!
