My landline has stopped working

It's now been a few days and I cannot make or recieve any calls.  There is no sound at the end of the line.

My phone is plugged into the wall into a master socket and speaking with family they questioned as to whether I have had a digital switchover.  I was advised to unplug from the wall and plug into the back of my router hub however my hub is around 5 years old and there was no socket that would take the cable.

@Marie136 check your service status via the link here, for any known issues in your area: https://www.sky.com/help/sky-talk/fix-problems-with-my-phone/articles/fix-phone-problems-start

 

If your broadband is also affected - slower than usual, for example, click 'the no my broadband isn't working' and carry out the connection test.

 

If neither helps, you'll need to report it to Sky, if you have the means to call them, or by filling out the form via the 'still need help' button.
