Multiple phones on landline
Hi,
I have 2 phones on the same landline. The main one connected to the hub is working perfectly however the additional phone upstairs isn't working. I believe it's a problem with the splitter
sky customer service aren't helpful and suggest purchasing a new splitter however this is built into the wall and needs an engineer to fit.
can anyone advise how best to resolve this please?
thanks

Re: Multiple phones on landline
@Barbara362 welcome to the Community 😊
As you've probably gathered we're customers here. It's unlikely that Sky will reply to you.
The only connection to Sky's landline service is via the phone socket at the back of the Hub. I doubt that's connected to the existing splitter which is why the other phone isn't working.
To get it to work, you'd need a splitter plugged into your broadband Hub, and a separate extension from the splitter to the other phone. That would probably be a bit of a faff.
The simplest solution would be to invest in a cordless DECT phone, where just a base station plugs into the Hub. You can place the handset or handsets wherever you want them, and they'll communicate cordlessly with the base station.
