Master socket box fixed with tape

So recently had sky engineer fit my broadband. The master socket which he installed for broadband has fell off the wall and is only holding up by 1 small thin wire the second wire which is yellow  is snapped in half and now by broadband is completely not working. I noticed that the master socket box was only connected to wall with double sided cello tape so I'm guessing reason it fell off the wall . Does anyone know if this is normal as I've had virgin media  before and they connect the box to wall with screws. Please help his fo I get my broadband fixed
