Help Elderly Mother left with no phone or wifi after outage on street

My Mum has no way to contact anyone as her home phone and broadband have gone down.

The whole village had an issue yesterday but everyone seems to be back on apart from my Mum.

A neighbour who is an engineer looked and said LOS light is red and to call sky but can't get through after 40 mins on hold got cut off.

I do not live nearby and she needs help as can't contact anyone by phone or wifi and only has basic mobile with no signal at home.

How can I get a msg to sky?

If you are authorised to talk to Sky on your Mums behalf give them a call and hopefully pass the security questions. The issue will be if Sky ask you to be at your Mums to carry out some basic troubleshooting first. Hopefully they can test the line and contact Openreach for her.

I have been on hold another 70 minutes. Is there not another way to contact them?
