Main phone line down but have internet

Our main phone line has been down for 3 days, we are not the only ones in our village, so a major line fault, phoned business line provider whoi got open reach on the case straight away, business line fixed, Home line still out and Sky not very helpful said they would request a engenner but most likely after Christmnas ! why can one company get a line fixed straight away but Sky just want to keep asking same questions have you turned it on and off, removed plu etc. Yes to all but still not working. We need the line working as wife on transplant list so call could come in any time. So disappointed on the service, just can't believe how little skuy have done to help

Business customers usually get a same day response from Openreach but with domestic customers there is a 3-5 day schedule for line repairs from them.
