I had new wires to plug into my landline & hub but they don't fit into my phone charger/plug. I'm not very savvy on this sort of thing & have spent ages trying fix this & am now very confused! Which plug/ which wire?. Help!

@Glamgran is this a cordless (DECT) phone we're talking about? All you should need to do is unplug it from the wall socket where it was previously, and plug it straight into the socket at the back of your broadband Hub. It's a standard phone socket, the same as the wall socket.
