Line into the house

The line that comes into my house is under a load of bushes that will need to be removed with a digger. I am concerned about the pipe with the line in will get damaged, so I suppose my question is whether I need to have an engineer out to look at the issue?

You could give Sky a call to ask, but I doubt they'll be able to book an Openreach engineer for you. Openreach.typically don't undertake preventive maintenance unless there's a health and safety risk.

@Dawn681

As @Mark39 indicates, there's basically no chance of getting an Openreach survey for that kind of work: they might respond if you were digging, for example, foundations for a building, because they can charge for that

Unfortunately they'll probably also charge if you damage their infrastructure.
