Will landlines in Sky MPF areas continue as normal after January 2027?

@Cocosat2 I asked Sky for clarification. They confirmed that customers on MPF lines aren't affected by Openreach's January 2027 deadline and will continue to use their existing landline service until further notice.

Re: Landlines in MPF areas
@Cocosat2 give us a clue - MPF area?
Ah - I guess this is related to your previous thread. Nothing has changed to my knowledge, except that Sky are continuing to migrate customers on standard analogue calls to Internet calls, not just new customers or customers moving address.

Re: Landlines in MPF areas
MPF is when sky not BT own the equipment that handles landlines in certain areas. Sky mentions somewhere in their help section that BT are removing their landline equipment but they (sky) are not.

@Cocosat2 what have Sky said? There's nothing more I can add beyond the content of your previous thread.

Re: Landlines in MPF areas
Sky say, as per their help screen above, "openreach are removing their equipment in January 2027 but we (sky) are not."
Other websites, (Google MPF), also imply Sky and Talk talk are not removing theirs and hence most of their landlines will continue as normal.
However there is nowhere on this forum that seems to confirm that.
