Landline

Hi

 

I was prepared to talk to a staff member in SKY and was diverted to here.  I assume a staff member will be here to answer my question as well.  I just joined SKY, and my activation date is 16/1/2023.  Please can you confirm why I was given a new landline number while I had provided my existing number for you to transfer?

As we are customers here who help each we can't say why this has happened so you will need to call to find why this has happened.

@Aung4343  This is a customer helps customer forum, you won't get a direct response from a Staff member.  No one here can confirm anything.

 

When you transferred to Sky Talk did you ask to port your number from your previous provider?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

That was exactly what I tried to do, but their auto rebot thingy just directed me to here, which is a bit unhelpful.

Thanks.  I knew they cannot guarantee, but I wanted a confirmation to make sure it was not a simple mistake.  If it was, then they can rectify it.  Therefore I wanted to talk to a staff member.  As said, their robot thing is useless and it only directed me to here - no offence to people here 😅

Perhaps with it being New Year eve this lines might have closed earlier so perhaps try again either tomorrow or on Monday/Tuesday.
