Landline telephone problem aftwr Full Fibre was fitted

Following Full Fibre being fitted I cannot receive local calls on my landline telephone. I am told they all say I am engaged. Longer ditance calls seem to be OK as far as I know

@Annoyed42 there's no concept of local calls when your connection is via the internet. Callers must prefix your number with the full national dialling code.

Calls from further afield come as usual though. Should I be trying to get in touch with BT over this?

Most likely because those calls require use of the full national dialling code.

No, BT are just another provider like Sky, TalkTalk etc. It's Openreach that manage the entire telephone network, but their customers are the service providers like Sky. They don't talk to end consumers.
