Hi there, doesn't seem to be a sky landline section, so i've just stuck it in here.
About 2 days ago out landline completely stopped working, we can't recieve or send calls on it, and there is no dial tone when attempting to use it. We do not recieve missed calls so absolutely nothing goes through it what so ever.
Tried going through support but for some reason landlines seem to be missing on the list of support features from sky, and our attempts at contacting support have been impossible due to long wait times and not having access to our landline to call the support.
We've tested with a new phone, so its definitely not the phone or an issue with the setup, as no changes occured recently with our phone setup, outside of it no longer recieving/sending calls.

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI've moved your post to the Sky Talk board which is solely for Talk landline issues. Is your Broadband working okay?

Hi Daniel, Yes our internet is working fine, the only change to our service is that the landline itself does not work.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Mummybear is your landline phone plugged into the back of your broadband Hub? If your Hub has a Voice light on the front panel, which is lit, your phone won't work from a wall socket.

Thanks for the questions mark, while i've been escalated i'll answer here as well in case they can read the responses.
First of all our landline is just a normal phone, not a sky voice phone or any sort, and is plugged into a D-link splitter, with the line for the internet going elsewhere.
we have tried it without the D-link splitter, but the phone still does not reach the dialling section of a phonecall.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Mummybear a normal phone is all you need. There's a standard phone socket at the back of your broadband Hub, where your phone most likely needs to be plugged in (definitely if the Voice light is lit).

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI doubt there is a wider problem as this is more likely an issue on your line somewhere.
Does your broadband hub have a voice light on it that is lit up ?

My line has just started working again, same as my mobile, so it must have been a local problem. Thanks for your advice anyway.
