Landline still not connected.

Well, it took eight days before the tv was working, and the landline is still not on. Having got past the bot a few days ago to chat to a person, I was told it would be escalated to the relevant team. Still nothing. It would be nice if I didn't have to keep chasing Sky to do their work.

Is your broadband working and if it is have you tried plugging the phone cable into the phone port on your broadband hub ?
