Landline rings once, nobody there but doing regularly

The phone rings once a bit like an alarm is set up but when I try and answer there isn't a caller. The line when I call out is terrible with background noise.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

If you can call Sky do so on 150 so they can run tests on the line to see if there is an external fault that needs fixing.
