It says my landline is temporarily unavailable - though the internet's working fine - is there a way to find out how long this might take? Many thanks

I would recommend calling sky as below
Contact sky as below
Follow the link and choose need more help
https://www.sky.com/help/home/
If in the Republic of Ireland go to the bottom of the page and change the flag to Republic of Ireland
If the fault is local to a few houses then sky may not know
If you have no means of calling we can escalate to sky
Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 55 inch uhd tv, with Dolbyvision, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21

Always worth telling Sky just in case your issue drags on. This link outlines auto compensation for when there is a total loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation
If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full working days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it, It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your account.
