Landline number invalidĵ

Income callers to my landline get number invalid message. Can still make outgoing calls. Can anyone help please.

Can you give us the background to this? Are ypu new to Sky landline/broadband service

Thank you for responding. I moved to Sky about a month ago and all was fine forca couple of weeks,  but now I can't receive calls.

I'm assuming your phone is plugged into your broadband Hub, not the wall socket. I don't think it's a problem local to you, but just in case, can you restart your Hub, by switching off at the plug for 30 seconds.

 

If it makes no difference, it's probably best reported to Sky.  You can do that by calling 150 on your landline or Sky Mobile if you prefer we can ask their messaging team to contact you here tomorrow so that you can report it via a private online chat.

Thank you for your suggestions and your offer to have someone from Sky call me.

I've tried unplugging and replugging. Also tried rebooting the router. As I'll be out a lot in the next few days I'll try calling Sky when I have time.

Spoke to Mark, very helpful, at Sky who told me they have changed my number but due to data protection rules he couldn't tell me what the new number is.

He's going to try to get the old number back and gave me a get around to find out the new number. Would have been helpful if I'd been told about the change in the first place.

Thanks for updating us. I'm guessing he told you to dial 17070, which connects to a recorded message giving you your number.
