@PaulH42 do you have internet calls, where your phone plugs into your broadband Hub, or standard calls, where your phone plugs into a wall socket?

Re: Landline not working

Standard calls, the phone plugs into the wall socket.

We had Open Reach working in the road the other day, when ever they are around phone lines go down.

@PaulH42 yes I've had that problem too. Try the simple connection test here by clicking on 'no.....', even if your broadband is working ok: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/fix-phone-problems-start

Re: Landline not working

That only tests the SKY Broadband, Wifi & Sky Q, which are all working fine.

Its the landline that's the problem, which Sky took over so I can't ring BT with the problem.

And as you are probebely aware its impossibe to ring Sky and talk to someone about the fault.

All that gets offered is the online chat which just goes round in cirlces, without getting any answers at all.

@PaulH42 it tests your line which supplies both broadband and landline..

To call Sky, try just ignoring the prompts and remaining silent.

Re: Landline not working

Tried the test again and its said "Your Sky Broadband looks like it has a problem"

It then sent me an email asking me if I want to improve my broadband speed?

Nothing about the fault with my landline or what they will do to fix it. They just advised me that I have the right to leave Sky Broadband and Talk contracts without termination fees. How on earth do Sky have any customers with a service that's not even botherd with customer service. As a last resort I'll try and ring Sky, if that dosen't work I'll then take them up on there offer and leave Sky Talk.
